Job Summary
Raytheon Missile & Defense (RMD) is seeking a Subcontract Specialist to join the Shelters and Structures Integrated Supplier Team.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Perform procurement and supplier management functions in support of U.S. Government and Commercial (Domestic) subcontracts
  • Administer and manage FFP/Cost Type subcontracts
  • Manage the overall sourcing and procurement activities from development through production and final contract close out
  • Monitor and Manage incoming supply of materials to fully support Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and independent demand; includes interface with functional and internal support organizations, such as Integrated Product Teams (IPT), Engineering, Production Control, Operations and Material Program Managers, and Program Office
  • Develop solutions to problems that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation
  • Perform risk analysis including identifying risks, opportunities, potential impacts, and mitigation plans
  • Responsible for RFP generation, adequacy of requirements flow-down, purchase requisition and Statement of Work
  • Development of negotiation strategy and lead multi-functional negotiation teams
  • Negotiation of price, delivery, payments and all contractual terms
  • Purchase order Placement and maintenance
  • Earned Value Management; Milestone monitoring and completion assessments
  • Manage and utilize including supply chain metrics and other digital tools, compile and evaluate trend analysis
  • Perform Price and Cost Analysis and supplier evaluations
  • Work with speed and accuracy in a fast paced environment in order to drive tasks to completion
  • Utilize various systems such as SAP and PRISM for regular reporting and execution of subcontracts
  • Manage supplier performance, cost, delivery schedule, technical and programmatic requirements

Qualifications you Must Have:
  • Minimum 5 years Supply Chain experience in DOD procurement/subcontract management
  • Bachelor's degree in Business related field, Supply Chain, Marketing or related field
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
  • Project management skills
  • Experience with negotiation of price / cost, schedules, and terms and conditions
  • Familiarity with contract types to include FFP, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF and IDIQ
  • SAP / PRISM experience

Qualifications We Value:

  • Familiarity with Best Value Source Selection
  • Direct experience in awarding and managing FFP/Cost type subcontracts
  • Experience working in an Integrated Product Team environment
  • Knowledge and experience purchasing complex assemblies for military applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work semi-autonomously
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 10%
